Seven Months... over the hump and headed toward being 1 :)

Our Mattie Monster- MaTaterTot- MattieCakes is Seven Months old! People are right when they say that time does go by faster with the second one! Mattea had her Six month check up a little late due to our trip to Arizona during that time and the fact that we changed doctors and she is now seeing a regular pediatric doc. So she saw the doc a week shy of turning 7 months. Weighing in at 18lbs 8oz and 27 inches tall. Now I have to say that i think they didn't do her length right... kinda had her all sideways as she wanted to roll over and grab the nurses shirt. Since this was the same clinic that Mattea was seen after her discharge from the NICU with the neo-natal doc, they knew about her birth history and were sure to check for her heart murmur right away. The doctor said that she could still hear a murmur, but she was not sure it was the same thing as the VSD she had been diagnosed with at birth. So she has set us up with Cardiology the first week of January to have it checked out again. Other than that.... our Mattea is growing good, is healthy (except for the constant runny nose every child under 10 seems to have lately) and is just a sweet girl.
Here are some things Mattea is doing or Loves to do...
* Sitting
*Trying hard to get on all fours
*Loves to scream to get your attention
*Loves to scream at her sister
*LOVES HER SISTER!!!
*Loves to scream along as you sing her a song
*Makes sure to let you know that she is not done eating her yummy foods
*Is still a drooling manic with NO teeth!
*Loves to get her hands on anything that her sister has
*Loves to give and receive kisses and hugs
*Loves to laugh and smile... especially at her sister :)
*Will roll across the floor to get to something she really wants to get her mouth on
