Scary Halloween events : Hot Springs
Karis made the front page of the Hot Springs Star Newspaper this week. Guess the Lovely Ladybug is a superstar now!!! We'll be charging for autographs :) Also featured in the pics is the girls daycare providers home... They are way decked out for Halloween.

Mattea Five Months
Hard to believe it but Mattea is five months old. Seems like just yesterday we brought her home and she was sleeping all the time. Now a days she is not much of a napper, but she sure sleeps at night. She likes to go to bed around 7:30pm and gets up around 5am. She moved to her big girl crib this month and is sleeping a little better with out mommy and daddy waking her up all the time. Mattea is rolling both ways now, she gets a little stuck when she is on her belly, but boy will she lets us know when she is mad enought about it. She likes doing her baby push ups and discovering all she can see down there. And as you can see, she is really working on sitting up and needs just a little help now and then to not tumble over. She LOVES watching her big sister play and of course grabbing for her toys... this is starting to make sister a little upset! Won't it be fun is a couple of months when she will crawl across the room for them. Mattea also loves to stand and bounce in her jumperoo. Everyone says that Mattea is such a smiley baby and she is. She also loves to laugh and we've found some tickle spots that will really get her giggling! Mattea gets a little food every day or so. She really enjoys it and gets really excited when she sees it coming!

Sisters...
Sometimes I look at Mattea and think I'm back to 2010 with Karis. Sometimes when I get her up in the morning I think to myself, Mattea is her sister's twin just born 23 months later. Both my girls are beautiful... Karis was a little more chubby at this age... but their eyes, nose and mouth are both so similar Even look at that hairline! :) Can't wait to see what my ohhh soooo cute girls turn out to be :)

| Day #2 of Pee Pee Party Day... Wearing Dora undies and her rain boots... in case of leaks! :) Karis has done very well and her momma and daddy are very proud. She has a few accidents here and there but she is learning fast that diapers are yucky! |

| OK... So maybe someday Karis will kill us for these photos... but right now they are just too precious not to share! After saying that she needed to poop for a few hours, her daddy figured out the best way to get her to go... bring the chair out to her, no pants or undies and countdown for her while she pushed the poopies out... And... She DID IT!!! |

| She is our Smiling girl! She loves to smile, especially in the morning when she wakes up. She also loves to giggle and laugh... especially at her sister :) |

| At her Four Month appointment Mattea weighed 15 pounds and 4 oz and was 27 inches tall. She had only gained a little over a pound since her Two Month appointment... but when you're born at almost 10 pounds you've got to even out sometime... She's our Lean and Mean Mattea Machine :) |

| She's learning how to push up on those arms, but loves to stand the most. |

| Mattea has gotten big enough to play in her Jumperoo. |

| She loves playing with the froggie as much as Karis did :) She is just starting to grab at her toys and of course everything goes straight to her mouth! |
