Karis loved going to the Fire Departments open house last Thursday for Fire Prevention Week. She got to meet Smokey the Bear and shake his hand. There was a fire extinguisher demonstration as well as a demonstration of how Fireman would search your room if there was a fire in your house... Karis loved that part! She also loved the Fireman hat, stickers and coloring book too... oh and the cookies... don't forget the cookies! :)
